Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
  • Optional: fresh parsley or basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika (if using).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through (about 5–6 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Add chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses until melted and smooth.
  6. Meanwhile, cook twisted pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Slice the chicken and return it to the skillet, placing it over the pasta.
  9. Garnish with parsley or basil and serve warm.
