Creamy Garlic Chicken is a one-skillet comfort dish featuring tender chicken breasts simmered in a rich, garlic-infused cream sauce with parmesan. It’s quick, satisfying, and perfect for weeknights or cozy dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika if using.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Lower heat to medium. Add butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up brown bits, then stir in heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Add parmesan and stir until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over top, and simmer for 2–3 more minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

  • Add mushrooms or spinach to the sauce for extra nutrition.
  • Stir in white wine or lemon juice for a tangy touch.
  • Use boneless thighs for a richer flavor.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, pasta, rice, or crusty bread.
