Cranberry Cream Cheese Spread is a sweet, tangy, and creamy appetizer made with softened cream cheese, cranberry sauce, and a hint of citrus. It’s perfect for the holidays or anytime you need a festive, flavorful dip for crackers, bagels, or toast.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 tsp orange zest or 1 tbsp orange juice
  • 12 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
  • 2 tbsp chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Let the cream cheese soften at room temperature for 15–20 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix cranberry sauce with orange zest and honey or maple syrup, adjusting sweetness to taste.
  3. Stir in a pinch of salt and chopped nuts if using.
  4. Fold the cranberry mixture into the cream cheese — either fully for a uniform spread or partially for a marbled effect.
  5. Transfer to a serving dish and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

  • Use whipped cream cheese for a lighter texture.
  • Stir in dried cranberries or spices like cinnamon for extra flavor.
  • For a savory twist, reduce sweetener and add green onions or jalapeños.
  • Do not freeze — best served fresh or chilled from the fridge.
