These Cranberry Bliss Bars are soft, chewy blondies topped with creamy frosting, tart cranberries, and a drizzle of white chocolate. Inspired by the coffee shop favorite, they’re bursting with festive flavor and perfect for holiday parties, cookie trays, or edible gifts.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp orange zest (optional)
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 12 tsp orange juice or orange extract (optional)
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries, finely chopped (for topping)
  • 2 oz white chocolate, melted (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and ground ginger.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs, vanilla, and orange zest. Mix until fully combined.
  5. Stir in dry ingredients just until incorporated. Fold in chopped cranberries and white chocolate chips.
  6. Spread batter evenly in the prepared pan. Bake for 18–22 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool completely before frosting.
  8. For the frosting, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and orange juice/extract, and beat until fluffy.
  9. Spread frosting over cooled bars. Top with chopped cranberries.
  10. Drizzle melted white chocolate over the top in thin lines.
  11. Chill for at least 30 minutes before slicing into triangles or squares.

Notes

  • Add orange extract to the frosting for extra citrus flavor.
  • Reduce white chocolate for a less sweet version.
  • Use fresh cranberries in the batter for tartness, chopped finely.
  • Decorate with edible glitter or extra orange zest for a festive touch.
  • Use a 1:1 gluten-free flour blend to make them gluten-free.
