Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh crab meat (preferably lump)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko recommended)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat the crab meat dry to remove excess moisture.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge crab in the flour mixture, then coat in beaten egg, followed by breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
