Warm, melty, and satisfying cheesy garlic chicken wraps filled with tender seasoned chicken and gooey mozzarella and cheddar, all toasted in a golden, crispy tortilla. Perfect for quick weeknight dinners or comforting weekend lunches.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  2. Stir in the cooked chicken, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Cook for 3–4 minutes until heated through and evenly coated. Remove from heat.
  3. Lay tortillas flat and divide the chicken mixture evenly among them.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly over the chicken.
  5. Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll tightly into wraps. Lightly spread butter on the outside of each wrap.
  6. Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Place wraps seam-side down and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, pressing gently, until golden brown and crispy and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from skillet, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, slice in half, and serve warm.

  • Rotisserie chicken works perfectly for a quick shortcut.
  • Add sautéed onions or bell peppers for extra flavor and texture.
  • Mix in red pepper flakes or jalapeños for added heat.
  • Swap mozzarella for pepper jack or Monterey Jack for variation.
  • Spread a thin layer of cream cheese or garlic sauce inside for extra creaminess.
