Condensed Milk Pecan Balls are rich, no-bake holiday treats made with sweetened condensed milk, ground pecans, and dipped in smooth chocolate. These easy-to-make bites are festive, creamy, and perfect for gifting, party trays, or satisfying a sweet tooth with minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • Pecans (pre-ground or finely chopped)
  • Sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
  • All-purpose flour
  • Pure vanilla extract
  • Dark chocolate candy melts (or milk chocolate, almond bark, or chocolate chips + shortening/coconut oil)
  • Optional Garnish: Crushed pecans, Colorful sprinkles, Sea salt, Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Pulse pecans in a food processor until coarsely ground—avoid over-processing.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk sweetened condensed milk, flour, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Stir in ground pecans and cook for a few more minutes until the mixture thickens.
  4. Transfer mixture to a dish, cover, and refrigerate until firm (about 30–40 minutes).
  5. Scoop and roll into small balls. Chill again for 20 minutes to firm.
  6. Microwave chocolate candy melts in 30-second bursts, stirring until smooth. Add shortening if using chocolate chips.
  7. Dip each ball into chocolate. Set on a parchment-lined tray. Garnish with crushed pecans or sprinkles while still soft.
  8. Refrigerate dipped balls for 20+ minutes until chocolate is fully set.

Notes

  • Use white or milk chocolate for variety.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon or sea salt into the pecan mix for extra flavor.
  • Can roll in chopped nuts instead of dipping in chocolate.
  • Best served chilled.
