Ingredients

  • For the Cake:
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1½ cups sugar
  • 1¼ cups milk
  • 1 cup vegetable oil

  • ½ tsp salt
  • For the Topping:
  • 1¼ cups brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup cold butter, cut into small cubes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, milk, oil, and vanilla until well combined.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, and salt; whisk until batter is smooth.
  4. In a medium bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, butter, and flour until crumbly.
  5. Pour half the batter into the pan; sprinkle with ⅓ of the topping.
  6. Add remaining batter and top with remaining crumb mixture.
  7. Bake for 40–50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
