This Cheesy Ground Beef Delight Wrap with Creamy Sauce combines juicy seasoned beef, melted cheese, and a tangy creamy sauce, all wrapped in a soft tortilla. It’s a quick, flavorful comfort food perfect for lunch, dinner, or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning or homemade seasoning blend
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tortilla wraps
  • Optional toppings: chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, jalapeños, green onions

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned and no longer pink. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Let simmer for 5 minutes until well combined and slightly thickened.
  4. In a small bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, salt, and pepper to create the creamy sauce. Set aside.
  5. Warm tortilla wraps in a skillet or microwave until soft and pliable.
  6. Spoon the beef mixture onto the center of each wrap. Sprinkle cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese on top.
  7. Drizzle with the creamy sauce. Add optional toppings if desired.
  8. Wrap tightly and serve warm.

Notes

  • Let the beef mixture cool slightly before assembling to avoid soggy wraps.
  • Use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a lighter sauce.
  • For extra veggies, add sautéed bell peppers or mushrooms.
  • Wraps can be frozen without fresh toppings for easy reheating later.
