Quick and satisfying cheesy garlic chicken wraps filled with tender seasoned chicken and gooey melted mozzarella and cheddar, all toasted inside a golden, crispy tortilla. Perfect for busy weeknights, quick lunches, or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to brown it.
  2. Stir in cooked chicken, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for 3–4 minutes until heated through and evenly coated with seasoning.
  3. Lay tortillas flat and divide the chicken mixture evenly among them.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly over the chicken.
  5. Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll tightly into wraps. Lightly spread butter on the outside of each wrap.
  6. Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Place wraps seam-side down and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, pressing gently, until golden brown and crispy and the cheese is fully melted.
  7. Remove from skillet, let rest briefly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Add sautéed onions or bell peppers for extra flavor and texture.
  • Mix in red pepper flakes or jalapeños for added heat.
  • Use whole wheat tortillas and slightly reduce cheese for a lighter option.
  • Swap mozzarella for pepper jack or Monterey Jack for variation.
  • Spread a thin layer of cream cheese or garlic sauce inside for extra creaminess.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in a skillet for best crispiness or in a 350°F oven for 8–10 minutes.
  • Freeze un-toasted wraps for up to 2 months and thaw before toasting.
