Ingredients

  • Cheese tortellini (refrigerated or frozen)
  • Olive oil
  • Beef sausage, sliced into rounds
  • Onion, chopped
  • Garlic, minced
  • Crushed tomatoes or marinara sauce
  • Italian seasoning
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Fresh basil or parsley (for garnish)
  • Grated parmesan cheese (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Cook cheese tortellini according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown sliced sausage for 4–5 minutes.
  3. Add chopped onion and garlic, cooking for 2–3 minutes until softened.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes or marinara, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.
