Carrot Apple Ginger Juice is a vibrant, naturally sweet, and slightly spicy drink made with fresh carrots, apples, and ginger. It’s refreshing, nutrient-rich, and perfect for an energizing morning boost or a healthy afternoon reset.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium carrots (washed and peeled if needed)
  • 2 apples (sweet varieties like Fuji, Gala, or Honeycrisp)
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger (peeled)
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Optional: 1/4 cup water (if using a blender)

Instructions

  1. Using a juicer: Pass carrots, apples, and ginger through the juicer, alternating ingredients for even blending. Stir the juice and serve chilled or over ice.
  2. Using a blender: Chop carrots and apples into small pieces. Add them to the blender with ginger and water. Blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth, pressing to extract the juice. Discard or compost the pulp.
  3. Serve immediately, optionally with a squeeze of lemon or over ice.

Notes

  • Add a slice of orange or squeeze of lemon for extra brightness.
  • Include turmeric or cayenne for added health benefits or heat.
  • Use cold or frozen ingredients for a chilled version.
  • Store in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 2 days—shake before drinking.
  • Blend with coconut water for a lighter, hydrating version.
