Baked Feta Pasta is a viral sensation for a reason—creamy, tangy, and bursting with flavor from roasted tomatoes and olive oil, all made in one dish. This easy weeknight recipe requires minimal prep and cleanup, and it’s fully customizable with your favorite herbs or mix-ins. A perfect comfort food that’s both elegant and effortless.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups grape tomatoes, washed and dried
  • 1 brick (8 oz) feta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh basil
  • 12 oz bow tie pasta, cooked, drained, and kept warm

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set oven to 350°F. Place grape tomatoes in a baking dish and nestle the block of feta in the center.
  2. Season & Oil: Drizzle 3 tablespoons olive oil over the tomatoes and cheese. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and salt. Drizzle remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil on top of the feta.
  3. Bake: Bake for 30–35 minutes until tomatoes are burst and feta is soft and golden.
  4. Mash and Mix: Use a spoon to mash the feta and tomatoes into a creamy sauce.
  5. Combine: Stir in fresh basil, then add the warm cooked pasta. Toss until evenly coated.
  6. Serve: Serve hot and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Crumbled feta can be used, but a block melts creamier.
  • Cherry or heirloom tomatoes work as substitutes.
  • Add-ins like olives, spinach, or roasted peppers boost flavor and texture.
  • Pesto can replace basil—adjust olive oil accordingly.
