This Apple Orange Juice is a naturally sweet, refreshing drink made from fresh apples and oranges. Packed with vitamins and bursting with citrusy brightness, it’s quick to prepare and perfect for a healthy boost any time of day.

Ingredients

  • 2 fresh apples (Fuji, Honeycrisp, or Gala)
  • 2 fresh oranges (navel or Valencia)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
  • 1/4 cup cold water or a handful of ice cubes (optional, for blending)

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the oranges, then cut into segments.
  2. Core and chop the apples into pieces suitable for juicing or blending.
  3. If using a juicer, juice the apples and oranges together.
  4. If using a blender, blend the fruit with cold water until smooth, then strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth if desired.
  5. Add lemon juice, stir, and pour over ice if using.
