Air Fryer French Toast Sticks are the ultimate quick breakfast—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and dusted in cinnamon sugar. This easy recipe uses pantry staples and your air fryer for a fuss-free, family-friendly morning meal that’s ready in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bread (Texas toast or brioche preferred)
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon butter (or cooking spray)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Maple syrup (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat air fryer to 350°F if needed. Slice bread into 3–4 sticks per slice.
  2. Make Egg Mixture: In a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, vanilla, and salt.
  3. Cinnamon Sugar: In a shallow dish, mix cinnamon and sugar.
  4. Dip & Arrange: Lightly grease the air fryer basket. Dip each breadstick in the egg mixture, shake off excess, and arrange in a single layer.
  5. Air Fry: Cook at 350°F for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden.
  6. Coat & Serve: While warm, coat with cinnamon sugar and serve with maple syrup.

Notes

  • Use thick-sliced bread for best results.
  • Skip cinnamon sugar for a lower-sugar version.
  • Perfect for freezing and reheating.
