These Air Fryer Cracker Barrel Chicken Tenderloins are a healthier, quick-cooking version of the restaurant favorite. Marinated in Italian dressing, garlic, honey, and lime juice, then air-fried to golden perfection, they’re juicy, flavorful, and ready in minutes—perfect for busy weeknights or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Italian dressing
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 lb chicken tenderloins

Instructions

  1. In a bowl or zip-top bag, whisk together Italian dressing, garlic, honey, and lime juice.
  2. Add chicken tenderloins and marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour (up to overnight).
  3. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and place in a single layer in the air fryer basket (work in batches if necessary).
  5. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
  6. Let rest for 2 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Add soy sauce or red pepper flakes to the marinade for variation.
  • Lemon juice works in place of lime juice.
