Ingredients
2 slices bread
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup
1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)
1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
Spread a generous layer of cottage cheese evenly over each slice of bread.
Top with fresh blueberries, pressing them lightly to help them stay in place.
Drizzle honey or maple syrup over the top if desired.
Sprinkle cinnamon or add a drop of vanilla extract for extra flavor (optional).
Place the prepared toast in the air fryer basket.
Cook at 175°C (350°F) for 5–7 minutes until the bread is crispy and the blueberries are slightly softened.
Carefully remove the toast and let it cool for 1 minute before serving.
Notes
Use sturdy bread like sourdough or whole grain for best results.
Frozen blueberries can be used but may release extra moisture.
Add sliced bananas or strawberries for variation.
Top with granola or chopped nuts after cooking for extra crunch.
Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored for up to 1 day in the refrigerator.
