3-Minute Fudge is a quick and easy chocolate dessert made in the microwave using just a few ingredients. It’s rich, creamy, and perfect for last-minute treats or edible gifts.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts, crushed cookies, mini marshmallows, or sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper or foil, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
  3. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth (about 1½ to 2 minutes total).
  4. Stir in vanilla extract and any desired mix-ins.
  5. Pour mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Refrigerate for 1–2 hours until firm.
  7. Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan and cut into small squares.

Notes

  • Use dark or milk chocolate chips for different flavor profiles.
  • Swirl in peanut butter or sprinkle peppermint for a festive twist.
  • Add espresso powder for a mocha variation.
  • Freeze for up to 3 months with parchment paper between layers.
